He has an enviable record in representing clients in Employment Tribunals across the UK and has acted, and continues to act, for some of the largest employers in Scotland and a number of household names.

Since returning to his home town and joining the firm, Daniel has developed a keen interest in other aspects of law including commercial law, conveyancing and succession. Having trained and worked at two of Scotland's biggest law firms, as well as working in-house for the NHS, Daniel has an excellent blend of local understanding and commercial city experience.

Born in Dingwall, Colin is a graduate of Edinburgh University, joining a leading Edinburgh firm on completion of his Diploma in Legal Practice. He was subsequently Called to the Bar as an Advocate, but ultimately decided in 2010 that he wished to move back north with his expanding family, and re-entered private practice as a Solicitor with Arthur & Carmichael.
